How long does tinned red salmon last when opened?!
It's been covered, and in the fridge!. How many days is it ok to leave it before eating it!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

By the way, do not put opened tins of food in the fridge!. A chemical reaction happens (with the aluminium in the can!?)!. In future put it in a bowl!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I have no idea how long it will last when I open the can I remove the skin but leave the bones in and mash them because they are soft and then I put it in a container and refrigerate!. I eat quite a bit of canned salmon, I really like it!. I will have 3 lunch sandwiches from a can with one day separating each lunch (for variety) and I'm always finished by the 5th day!. It's always good but then I don't mix mayo or dressings with it!.!.!.I put my dressing on the bread and don't mix with the salmon
I will be having it today for lunch, being Sunday, and I will have it again on Tuesday for lunch but on Thursday I will have it for supper along with home made french fries and a salad!. My sandwiches will be either plain or toasted and I may put some mayo on the bread and I alway put a slice of sweet onion (either red or vidalia) on the bread and then mound it with the salmon and add a shake of salt & pepper!.

As a general rule of thumb!.!.!.!. I don't leave anything in the frig for more than a week!.!.!.!. or heat it more than twice!.!.!.!.!. depending if you made a spread with it of like a salmon loaf I would kinda follow those rules as well!.!.!.!. and also be sure the frig is at or around 36- 40 degrees farrenhite!.!.!. if all else fails I'm sure someone around has a cat!.!.!.!.(LOL)Www@FoodAQ@Com
According to how you prepare the salmon, you can put it in a tightly sealed container and freeze it instead of putting it in the fridge!. However, if you are not a creative cook, 4-5 days is max!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
