Why do some ice cubes look crystal clear, and others look sort of foggy?!

Question: Why do some ice cubes look crystal clear, and others look sort of foggy!?
Answers:
It depends on the purity of the water and on the amount of air suspended in the water!. If the water is very hard, or has a lot of air suspended in it you will get cloudy ice cubes!. That's why for ice sculptures they like to use destilled water and they leave it sit for quite a while after filling the container to let the air rise out!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

The faster the ice freezes the clearer it will be!. The foggy part of the ice is created when the water freezes slowly and the impurities in the water settle to one point!. When it freezes faster the impurities are still in the ice but they do not have time to settle!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If you use warm water instead of cold water to fill the trays, you end up with clear cubes!. The water freezes faster when it is warm!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Ice cubes freeze from the outside in, making the inside of it foggy!. I don't know why come of them can look crystal clear though!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

i heard slowly freezed ices are clear!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
