If pizza has been left out all night, is it still good to eat?!
Answers:
I hate to admit I left some under my bed in my college days and ate it 2 days later, and as for the weirdo who said something about maggots, he has some in his brain, maggots only affect rotting flesh and as for those who commented about the sausage and cheese, first it was cooked before the pizza was made, and it takes more than a few hours on the counter to make it go off, in the box it may be a bit dry!.
I should also add I am a former chef and have worked all over and in Asia, ate at hawker stalls in Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore and at night stalls when I worked in Japan, plus when I was in Jamaica I ate at the roadside Jerk huts, I never in 20+ years as a chef, ever had a case of food poisoning from any food, dead or alive I ate, and I had some weird stuff to say the least!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

even if your room was cold enough, you have to consider the presence of fungus, mold, etc!. if you had left it in my apt!. it would be walking around by sunup, in third world countries people leave food out, but they have already developed some sort of immunity against rotting food, i would recommend not eating it!! i once left some rice out (covered), withing 8 hours it was slimy but i ate it cause there was nothing else, and i got a mild case of food poisoning, and it's not fun, what with the shivers and the hallicunations!Www@FoodAQ@Com
I wouldn't trust the sausage that might be on it, but peperoni is so full of preservatives it might be ok!. My hubby has on occasion eaten it, (when I wasn't looking) and he's fine!. When I complained he said "Look, if it wasn't ok to eat pizza left out all night, then like billions of college students (who appearently live on old pizza in their dorms) would have been dieing since the invention of delivery pizza!"Www@FoodAQ@Com
Was the box closed!? If the box is closed I usually eat left over pizza even if it was left out!. I've never had a problem!. I try to keep it in the fridge, but sometimes it's just really late and we forget!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
If you left it out all night you were probably too drunk to put it in the fridge, so now you're probably hungover so you can eat it because anything will taste good!!Www@FoodAQ@Com
Nuke it long enough and nothing can survive!. Gotta love microwaves!. And even if that doesn't take care of it, there's the pH of your stomach acid!Www@FoodAQ@Com
