Hotdogs ???!

Question: Hotdogs !?!?!?
are hotdogs junkfood!?
are they bad for you!?
ruffly how many calories and carbs are in a hotdog that is 25-35cm long 2cm wide !?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Unless you prepare them yourself, they usually are one step up from rubbish since the sellers use the cheapest of sausages, that can contain as low as 34% of meat!.

Now a good hotdog with a nice bun and a good sausage it's a nice snack, but it should never be considered a meal!.

The sausage can be around 80cal each and the bun around 220cals, then you have to add ketchup which is high in calories due to the sugar in it and don't forget the fried onions which probably have an substantial amount of 'fatty' calories!. I'd say that a hot dog has between 300 to 500 calories!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

in general, most cheap hot dogs are made from a combination of various meats and animal parts!.!.!.!.!.and, all hot dogs have alot of sodium and preservatives in them!. But, at least Kosher all-beef hot dogs have "decent" meat in them:) !.!.!. so you can't make a generalization about how good or bad a hot dog is for you, and the calories and carbs vary a HUGE amount between them (turkey or chicken can be less than half the calories or carbs of any other kind)Www@FoodAQ@Com
