You can throw together some onions, curry powder and garlic in a pan with a little bit of oil and saute it until the onions are clear!. Then add some vegetable or chicken stock and a can of coconut milk, some small pieces of tilapia and chunks of precooked potato and maybe hot peppers sliced thin if you like it spicy!. Cook the whole pot for about 20 minutes!. You have to combine curry and coconut milk for an amazing flavor!. It's really good with some rice!.

"Curry powder is a blend of up to 20 different herbs and spices, including the commonly used: cardamom, chiles, cinnamon, cloves, coriander, cumin, fennel, fenugreek, mace, nutmeg, pepper, poppy seeds, sesame seeds, saffron, tamarind and tumeric (which gives curry its characteristic golden color)!. In Indian cooking curry is freshly ground each day (making it far more flavorful and pungent than the mixes sold in the store), and comes in "standard" and "Madras" (hot) versions!."Www@FoodAQ@Com

Curry is a mix of spices, usually served in a thick sauce or stew!. There are a lot of varieties -- Thai curries include Massaman, red, green, and yellow!.

In most grocery stores, you'll find some Thai curry sauces in the ethnic section!. You can use the sauce to simmer veggies and meat -- for example, a yellow curry usually has squash, onion, peppers and chicken, served over white rice!. That would be the easiest way to make a Thai curry dish, and if you really liked it you could explore making the sauce yourself later!.

Pad Thai and Pad See Ew are the most common noodle dishes!. Pad See Ew is easier to make from scratch, but Pad Thai is a little more popular and you could easily find a kit, where you just have to add the meat!.

If you have a Thai restaurant nearby, you should really try that!. There are very strong flavors, and that's the best way to try a few of them without as much committment and effort!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Curry is a blend of spices; there is no such thing as a curry bush where you get and dry berries to grind and make curry powder!. It's a mix!.

I have a really simple recipe for a Dutch-Indonesian peanut sauce!. I've been told it's very much like Thai food!. In a saucepan, whisk two cups of water slowly and carefully into a cup of peanut butter!. Once it's smoothly blended, turn on the heat to medium and add
4 teaspoons powdered ginger,
2 teaspoon onion powder,
1 teaspoon garlic powder,
2 tablespoon corn syrup or molasses,
2 tablespoons soy sauce,
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper,
1 teaspoon salt,
and stir to blend!. Let it boil about a minute, reduce the heat and let it simmer about 10-15 minutes!. If it's too thick, add a little more water and use the whisk to mix it in!. It should pour like a sauce or gravy!.

Serve this piping hot over a diced chicken and rice dish with any veggies you like mixed in!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Google it!.
