It it possible to eat meat without promoting cruelty to animals? How?!

Question: It it possible to eat meat without promoting cruelty to animals!? How!?
I'm a meat eater!. I've tried being vegetarian in the past, but it simply doesn't work for me!. I get too hungry and tired!. I know there are ways to be healthy and vegetarian, but it's too difficult for me and I wouldn't enjoy it!. It's a personal choice!.

I have no qualms about eating a dead animal- plenty of other animals do it- as long at it lived and died humanely!. I don't eat a lot of meat anyway, but when I do buy it how can I be sure I'm not supporting cruel animal-farming practices!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Look for labels that say "free range" with poultry and eggs!. This means that the chickens are alloto roam freely during their life span, and are not pent up cruelly!. Do your research!. Well you'd have to give a good idea of what you mean by "humane"!.

But I have a couple of family membors and friends who have livestock!. And I know a guy who owns a butchers!.
Most slaughter houses really arient very crude!. The animal is usually killed very quickly and with as little pain as possiable!.
The only way for them to kill the animal in a more "humane way" would be to do a lethal injection!. Well I very seriously doubt the fact people would buy an animal full of whatever is in lethal injections!.

So bascially just accept the fact!.
Animals killed in slaugheter houses are actually dieing a lot less painful death than they would at the paws of a hungry lion, wolves, pumas, etc!.

Large cats usually try to maim the animals throat or spinal cord in the neck!. Now this could be a minimilized form of pain in the wild!. But they are doing this at about 45 MPH!. So it usually isnt that clean!.

Wolves attack at the stomach, legs, and back!.
Wounding the prey till it can no longer walk!.
Then a killing blow is usually struck!.
(dont think thier mean!. Wolves are only succesusful in about 8-10% of thier hunts!. Meaning they eat maybe every 2-3 weeks!. They got to do what they can to survive)!.

In a slaughter house its usually a cleaver or some such instrament and its dont the the spinal cord in the neck!.
Witch cauces death and paralysis!. So they get about as much pain as you do when you get a shot!.

You really can't get much more humane than that!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
