Truffles!. I had a chicken stuffed with them for Christmas two year ago and I have to say it was awful!.
Why is it that so many of these so-called luxury foods are so terrible!?

There are two ways of defining expensive: just sheer price, or cost per unit of weight!.

The answer to the second one is probably saffron - in a paella or saffron shrikand (a fabulous Indian dessert) - at £2!.50 a gram!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

3 tiny scoops of icecream,, in a michelin star hotel tht cost £9,, but was on the company so its all good haha!!
