Why is it that when you warm food up in the oven it stays hot longer than just microwaving it?!

Question: Why is it that when you warm food up in the oven it stays hot longer than just microwaving it!?
Answers:
microwaving doesnt cook through the whole food, making some parts, like the tops and edges of the food really hot, and usually the inside isnt as hot, depending on how long you cook for!. ovens cook the food thoroughly and completely!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Oven gets the food evenly warmed, and usually to a higher average temp!. The microwave will heat some parts and not others, and the colder parts will leach heat away from the hotter parts, in addition to the whole thing cooling!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

the oven heats it all--microwaves heat the water molecules which heat everything else up!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
