Answers:
It does expand when it freezes by about 9 percent, so you need to remove about a cup and a half of milk from each gallon to prevent a flood!.

Thaw it in the refrigerator, not at room temperature!. It will take a day or more for a gallon jug to thaw there, but it's by far the safest way!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It is fine to freeze milk!. I have a store and the milk often comes to the store frozen!. The best way to thaw is in the fridge!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Separate them into separate ziploc freezer bags and freeze up to 6 months!. Thaw under running warm water in the sink!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I've frozen whole milk, and it never tastes the same when it's thawed!. The cream (fat) seems to separate and "plop" out when you pour it !.!.!.!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
