Spit roast a pig!?!
We are planning a backyard spit roast at our holiday farmhouse from a while ago!. Four months ago,four of us friends purchased a piglet & a neigbour few houses down was kind enough to raise it & has grown to a medium sized pig!.
My sister Kate and I with two of our friends are planning to spit roast it on open fire in the next two weeks!. We are eager to do the killing ourselves as we have seen them done before, however, we do not have access to a rifle, so what other good ways could we do it with knives etc!?

the only other way to do it is confine him where he cant move knock him very hard in the head where he is unconscious and then slit his throat so he bleeds out!. !.!.or the easy way is if you can haul him to a small meat processing plant and pay to have him slaughtered, they will do it humainly and gut him so you dont have to do it if you have one in the area they usually charge around 25 to 30 dollars kill fee and they will also cool him down in the proper way its well worth the effort and the timeWww@FoodAQ@Com
