V8(vegetable drink) are supposed to be healthy right?!
Ok so the other day i was drinking a can of V8 and i noticed they have 690 mg of sodium in them! how can they advertise this as healthy!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

You would think that because it's a vegetable juice and not a drink that it's supposed to be healthy and it probably is but, I have to agree with you, it does pack allot of sodium!. I've also tasted their low sodium version and personally I didn't care for it!. I ended up adding salt and Tabasco sauce to it!. Now, go figure!. I guess I'll stick to the regular V-8!. I guess eat and drink everything in moderation!. It does taste good and fills you up though!. I like to drink it cold!. I also never drink more than one 12 oz!. in one day and I also don't drink it everyday!. Remember to always drink plenty of water throughout the day!. Have a good one!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
V8 has a low sodium drink as well!. It has the same taste as the regular V8 but half the sodium!. And I would advise only drinking one glass per day anyway whether the lower sodium or the regular!. They can advertise it as being healthy because it is made from 100% vegetables!. Not everyone counts sodium mg!. The best line of defense if drinking V8 is to make sure you are drinking plenty of water as well so you can flush the salt from you system faster!. Healthy however, does not equate to the fact that you need to eat right and exercise in order to maintain a healthy way of living!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
the only way this would be healthy is if you substituted all of your fruit and vegtable servings for that day with a V8!. All of the fruits and veggies together have high msg because of their naturaul sugars and vitamins, but you shouldn't have double that amount!. Therefore V8 should be used as a substitute!. Its kind of funny how they dont tell you stuff on the bottle and expect you to just know it!. lol!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
