Why do we need a sweet dessert after meals?!


Question: Why do we need a sweet dessert after meals!?
Answers:
We don't it is just so we can digest the food we have just eaten better!. And also for example having sorbets afterwards are good because they are supposed to cleanse the pallet!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Our palate likes to have a variety of tastes!. SO after a savoury, sweet is nice!.

To flip it around, say you eat a lot of chocolate, then you feel like something healthy!.

If you eat fish and salad, then you feel like icecream (or whatever)

It is natures way of gettting us to eat a variety of foods!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

i do not think we actually need it!.i think we have been trained to have dessert!.and by now we know it is yummy!!!and we think we need it!!i know Asian cultures do not have overly sweet desserts-at least traditionally-and look how much thinner they are!.!.i wish i did not crave desserts!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

dessert is cold and sweet and it somewhat helps in digestion!. and it is tasty too, so that its sweet flavour will remain on our mouth for long!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

because they taste like a peice of heaven and that is generally enjoyable!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

well i dont really eat deserts after meals
but for some people i guess they like to treat there selfs or even reward there kids if they eat all there foodWww@FoodAQ@Com
