When you you order pizza for delivery, how much are you supposed to tip?!
FOR EXAMPLE, LAST NIGHT I ORDERED THE 4, 4, 4 FROM DOMINO'S PIZZA AND THE TOTAL CAME OUT TO $14!.56!. THEY HAD ALREADY CHARGED A FEE OF $1!.60 FOR DELIVERY!. I GAVE THE MAN A $20 BILL AND TOLD HIM TO KEEP THE CHANGE!. WAS THAT TOO MUCH!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

The delivery fee is for the cost of fuel!. The driver gets that cash at the end of the shift to off set fuel cost!. The Tip should be your call depending on several factors!. Was the pizza delivered fast!? was the driver friendly!? How large the order was and Did he call if he was lost!? I guess the driver can deliver 2 or 3 pizzas an hour and if he/she was prompt and friendly, a 18% of the total bill should be a good tip!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
No, I think that's fine -- maybe a big generous, but it means if you order again you'll get great service!. Most places that deliver remember who tips well and who doesn't, and if you're a good tipper they'll make an effort to get your order to you a lot quicker!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
With the cost of gas today!.!.!.i dont think there is a maximum!. I think it is appropriate to tip the pizza guy about 15 to 18% of your meal!. He is doing far more than a waitress!.!.!.he is actually bringing it to your house!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
