If i drink a cup of green tea a day, would it speed up my metabolism?!

i have SUCH a slow metabolism!. i can gain alot of weight by eating a little bit!.
i eat breakfast, lunch, and something small [like an orange or apple] for dinner!.
and i drink a good amount of water!.
my brother eats like a pig, and never gains weight!.

personal story: I drank 4-5 cups of plain green tea every day for 3 months and I lost 15 lbs!.!.
unfortunately I gained it all back after i stopped because i was getting a little edgy from the buildup of constant caffeine intake especially late at night!.!.
