What's the best biscuit around for dunking into tea or coffee ?!


Question: What's the best biscuit around for dunking into tea or coffee !?
I'm sure that once upon an epoch ago a scientific study was actually done on this and a paper was published !!

My own personal preference used to be the classic Hob Nob,, but they leave too much debris in the cup!. A digestive is safe, if a little on the staid side!. I'm experimenting this morning with shortbread - so far so good !!!! mmmmmWww@FoodAQ@Com

my personal preferrence has got to be custard creams it does sound horrid but it actually is quite nice!.!.!.!.

and ginger nuts as okay as they don't leave as much debris which is always a plus

i also like the taste of all butter shortbread too whic is quite odd as i cannot not usually stand the taste of shortbread but dunked!.!.!. hmmmmm

chocolate on the outside then biscuit then more chocolate on the inside!.

if you bite the corner of both ends you can suck it through and get the inside chocolate at the same time(worm from the coffee)!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Now this is disgusting, but really gorgeous!.
Get some cadburys fingers!. Take a tiny bite off each end and in the cup suck up like a straw, when the tea reaches your mouth eat the biscuit!. OMG!

Yes the Hob Nob would be my first choice, but I reckon the Ginger Nut had the necessary consistency to withstand a long hot dunking!. :o)Www@FoodAQ@Com

Custard creams are the best buy far - the cream in the middle holds it together perfectly, and the biscuit goes soft- its just amazing!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I dunk a chocolate hobnob into hot chocoate!.!.!. i suppose it should be ok with tea
