Any fellow fans of cockles & mussels ?!
Hi,
I guess you hate them or love them, pickled in a jar!.
I used to pick fresh winkles on the Northumbrian shores, and jolly tasty they are!.
I know some are put off by appearance, but what about oysters, squid, or even popular fish unless shaped & covered in a batter !?
A take home jar of fresh cockles or mussels is ￡1 each from a local pub, or I bet if you get them to open a jar on the bar with cocktail sticks, they are gone in no time!.
What do you reckon !?

I'm a big lover of seafood, and love nothing more than a salad with whelks, cockles, mussels, huge crevette's, and possibly some red and black caviar!.
There's a restaurant called The Crows Nest in Birmingham that I'd reccomend for that!.
As for cooked fish, I'm quite into doing a nice barbeque with tilapia / salmon and large prawns - though I do an excellent fish pie using Rick Steins' recipe!.

I used to go cockling at Clethorpes, when I was a kid!. We loved it and I still love cockles, to this day!. The only other sea food that I like are crabs and prawns!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Love cockles,mussels,not keen on whelks or winkles!.Love crab,lobster,Dublin bay prawns,most shell fish and fish!.Don`t like squid or octopus!.Love roll mops and fresh Sardines!. Had locally caught bream on the bar b the other evening;mouth wateringly gorgeous!.
My elder daughter(now grown up)was brought up on a fishing boat that I had shares in at the time,even when she was very tiny she loved fish;we used to catch plenty of dog fish(they call it rock salmon in the shops!),huss,conger,mackerel and skate;always used to cook some fresh out of the sea;that is fish at it`s very freshest and best!.When hauling in the lobster pots there was often a good size lobster or crab with a claw missing(which restaurants and hotels weren`t keen to have)so we would pop it in the pot for our supper on the boat!.I suppose not a lot of babies are weaned with crab,lobster and dog fish! As I still live on the coast there is never any shortage of fresh sea food and lava to go with it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

but I only like mussels in a kind of Marinara sauce
oysters are good if done right, or fresh and raw lol, smoked is fine too
squid i pass on and octopus but if fried right with red sauce yum
crabs and pawns and Lobster are the bomb=very good
and omega 3 cold water fish oil, fresh ocean salmon taste and is best for you
and some food for the soul wisdom too=I help others to come to truth and help;

I happen to be Jewish, and I believe in the promised Messiah of Judaism, Jesus!
hurt people hurt people, live in shalom peace in your heart and soul!. as the prince of peace gives us and as promised will return to bring it not just to Jewish and gentiles hearts but to the entire earth as he reigns in millions of hearts already!.

the fact is if you reject Moses and Isaiah and the Messiah you as I did miss the key to life!.
the Messiah brought laughter and joy with his inner peace and true love to my life, that week i was going to commit suicide as a Jewish lad with everything money could buy but true happiness!. Do you have that true joy and inner peace too, it doesnt sound like it, and the power of forgiveness to love those that dont like you too!?

I came to know the Messiah by praying as he spoke from heaven to John and recorded for us
"I love you and knock on your heart door to come in and forgive your sins when you repent and ask me in, i will be your friend!." Revelation 3:19&20
So I prayed'
"Help me Messiah, I am sorry for my sins, come into my heart and be my friend, amen" and it happened!
So the Messiah is Jesus thank God!.
