Blood in egg yolk...throw it out?!

Question: Blood in egg yolk!.!.!.throw it out!?
Honestly I haven't encountered this problem in years, and even in the past it was very rare!. I always ate the egg anyway, and was told that all that means is that the egg was fertilized but refrigerated before it had a chance to develop into a chick!.

I was looking up old answers and found a LOT of people throw eggs out when the yolk has blood!.!.!.just wanted to ask this question again and see how people answer!.

I always used to eat the eggs, and a little blood didn't change the taste, consistency, or get me sick!. So why do people throw out these eggs!? Is it just the fact that it's blood!?

If you eat meat it really shouldn't matter, because you eat blood anyway!.!.!.and if you are vegetarian you got no business buying eggs!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
it isn't fertilized, almost all eggs come from chickens that are not around roosters!. it's just a part of the egg!. and yeah I don't get the big deal!. If I'm baking I leave it!. If I'm making scrambled eggs and it isn't to hard I remove the little clot of blood!. otherwise I'm not one to waste good food!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You are correct in that the egg was fertilized and that is why it had blood in it!. I like eggs, and steak, but there is something about the blood in eggs that makes me throw those particular ones out!. Strange thing about it is that I don't usually waste a morsel of food, but it's the visual that turns me off!. Luckily there are not that many of those eggs that come around!. Of course in a pinch with a little bit of tobassco well!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I've only had that happen to me once!. And because it happened while working in fast food, I had to chuck it!. I mean, who wouldn't be grossed out with a red Egg McMuffin!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

I always throw them out!.!.but my hubby will eat it anyway if there's not a lotWww@FoodAQ@Com
