Is it better to store eggs in or out of the fridge?!
Or does it matter!?Www@FoodAQ@Com
Answers:
It is really down to personal preference, in the end!. Keeping eggs in the fridge will mean you often have to leave them to reach room temp before using them, they will be more likely to crack when you boil them!. Whereas keeping them out the fridge means you can just use them straight away!.
Personally, I would say it is better to keep them out of the fridge!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Keep eggs as fresh as possible by storing them in the refrigerator in their original carton as soon as you get home!. The carton protects the eggs from absorbing flavors and odors of other foods nearby, especially from strong-smelling foods like onions, cheese or cabbage!. Keep raw foods (meats, poultry, and eggs) separate from cooked foods in the refrigerator!.
Keep eggs refrigerated at 4° C (40 ° F) or lower at all times!.
Keep eggs in the main body of the fridge (not on the door)!. This will keep them at a more constant, colder temperature!.
Keep eggs in their original cartons!. This will protect them from taking on any off-odors from any strong-smelling goods in the fridge (eg!. onions, strong chesses or meats)!.
The reason it was thought they were better out is that if you are boiling eggs and you put a cold egg into hot water it is more likely to crack and make a mess!. However, if you put the eggs from the fridge into cold water and bring to the boil you should have no problems!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

They last in a fridge = in

so to be honest i don't think it makes much of a diffrence!?
i think they may last a tad bit longer in a fridge because theres less bacteria&they are chilled ect!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

think of it this way!. the colder something is it slows down molicules, so it slows down the rotting process!. thats why you can freeze things for a long time and why lots of things that rot easy are refrigerated!. it also depends on how fast your going to use them but they will always last longer refrigerated!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
DEFINITELY OUT!. They do not need to be kept in such cold conditions as the fridge!. When do you see them in the supermarkets in the fridge!?
If they are really cold when you put an egg in the hot water to boil they will crack, keeping them out at room temp prevents this, unless of course your house is kept at tropical heats!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Keep them in the back of the fridge in their carton!. Don't use that silly tray in the door (opening!.!.!.closing!.!.!.!.)!. The French don't refrigerate their eggs, so it's not really a safety issue, but they last longer if they are cool and remain at a constant temp!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
