I left chicken to marinade in the fridge for 2 days. Is it still cookable?!

Question: I left chicken to marinade in the fridge for 2 days!. Is it still cookable!?
Answers:
It depends on the age of the chicken before it went in the marinade and what the marinade was made with!. If the chicken was reasonably fresh and the marinade was made with a pretty good amount of acid (vinegar, vinegrette, lemon/lime/orange juice, etc), then it should be ok!. Just be sure to smell the chicken before you cook it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It should be tasty!. It will depend on the marinade that you used and how the chicken was defrosted as well as the age of the chicken!. I hope that it is good and tender so you can have a wonderful dish this memorial day!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Depending on the acidity of the marinade, your bird may already be "cooked"! That's really too long for most marinades!. Try it!.!.!.who knows!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

of course and it should be very flavorful nowWww@FoodAQ@Com
