How do l stop Lumps in my Gravy?!

Question: How do l stop Lumps in my Gravy!?
Answers:
All you do is SLOWLY pour in the water, thats how I make it and also use a large whisk!. Ta na na!!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

The base for any gravy should be the drippings from whatever meat you cooked!. Put that dripping in a saucepan on med-high heat until it begins to boil!. While waiting for dippings to boil, stir 3 TBSP of flour or cornstarch into 2/3 cup of cold water!. Stir until the flour or cornstarch is FULLY dissolved!. Add to the drippings, stirring constantly, until it thickens!. Add more cold water if the gravy is too thick!. You should have absolutely NO lumps!Www@FoodAQ@Com

If you are using flour and water, make sure the water is cold!. Then, whisk until all lumps are out and then add to boiling liquid and stir the boiling liquid as you add the flour/water!. Invest in a good whisk or 2!.

If you still have lumps, strain it through a metal strainer before serving!. (I caught a 5 star Navy chef doing this in his restaurant!. Neat trick!)Www@FoodAQ@Com

Just as it starts to boil turn the heat down so it doesn't boil too quickly and stir it with a whisk rather than a spoon!. The whisk will break down the lumps!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Whisk it!. However, it you do still get lumps!.!.!. You can strain it through some cheesecloth or a fine mesh strainer!.!.!. That will take away the lumps!.!.!.

good luckWww@FoodAQ@Com

add meat juices then hot water to a paste previously made with bisto!. Then just keep whisking untill it comes to the boil, do not leave it once boiling, pour straight away!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

WHATEVER YOUR USING FOR YOUR DRIPPINGS !.!.IF ANY!.!.!.!.I PUT FLOWER IN A JAR AND MIX IT WITH COLD WATER!.!. THEN KEEP ADDING IT TO IT !.!.KEEP STIRING!.!.
DONT USE HOT OR WARM WATER !.IT WILL REALLY GET LUMPY!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Stir it!
Shake it!
Wisk it!
Look at it!
Eat it! Wait!.!.!. I'll do that!.
