Remember Taco Doritos?!
In the 70's, there used to be only original Doritos and Taco Doritos!. The Taco Doritos came in a white bag with purple letters on the label!. Then, they came out with Nacho Doritos!. They had all 3 for a while!. Once they came out with the Ranch, Salsa, Lime, and Guacomole Doritos, I never saw them again!. I miss them!. Quite delicious!. Kind of spicy!. I DO!!! I dont really remember the bag colored as you do, but I sure do remember the taste, second to none!! Yes, they do make taco flavored ones available in some parts of the country, but its definatly not the same!. The good taco flavored ones disappeared for quite a while (years) before the new, supposedly improved taco flavored ones came out!. When the new taco ones canme out, they were advertized as taco bell flavored taco doritos and I was really disappointed in them after watching and watching for the good old taco ones to show up again!.Hopefully someday Fritolay will go back to the old style ones, they were soooooooo good!
One other lil note!.!.!.In some parts of the country you can buy Bar-B-que flavored fritos!. Up here in WI you cant!. Instead of barbque ones, we have chili-chese flavored ones!.The barbque ones are 50 times better, and whenever we go on a trip somewhere, I check for them in the store, and always buy a bunch to bring home, and keep hoping the barbque ones will come back, and they can shelve the chilichese flavored ones for good!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
