well i have a question for u are you sitting at your computer chair, staring down at the sandwich calling ur name!?
well from the time i saw this question it has been 5 minutes since you typed in this question and probobly about the same time u dropped it on the floor, i usually change the 5 second rule to the five minute rule so if u pick it up right about now i think ud be safe but then again its taking me so long to type this, (yes i put a lot of thinking into answering questions)!. but maybe you could even change it to the 15 minute rule!?!.!.!.!. but it also depends on which type of sandwich it is!. my favorite sandwich is a BLT and i would pick it up no matter how long its been there! but first id check if ther is mold on it, so young lad i have helped you that far but i may not help you any longer it is up to you! your the only one who can decide if that sandwich is worthy enoughWww@FoodAQ@Com

It depends on the floor!. If it is a clean floor, and you picked it up and there was nothing on the bread, I'd eat it!. If it has anything at all on the bread, I would start with fresh bread!.
My mom always said we had the 30 second rule!.!.!.!.if you pick it up before 30 seconds, it's still good :-)Www@FoodAQ@Com

No, not in my house, because I have 2 cats and no matter how often I clean, there is still cat hairs on the floors!. You might be able to save most of the sandwich if you just throw out the part that actually touched the floor!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It depends upon if the floor was clean, how the sandwich fell (open or shut) and did it get picked up before the 5 second rule!? (all moms know about the 5 second rule)

Play it safe and make a new oneWww@FoodAQ@Com
