Where do you buy your produce?!

Question: Where do you buy your produce!?
the local market or the supermarket!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Neither! I grow it!Www@FoodAQ@Com

During the winter, I buy my produce at my local supermarket but during the spring, summer and fall, when the Farmer's Market and roadside stands are open, I buy as much of my fresh fruit and produce as possible there; although there are somethings that I can only get at the supermarket because they cannot be grown here in New England such as bananas, oranges, Minneolas, other citrus and avocados!. I try very hard not to buy imported produce/fruits/veggies and to support the American farmers/growers!.

The best place to buy produce is at a local Farmers Market!. The produce is much fresher, because it has the time to actually ripen on the tree/bush/vine!. Your prices will start being lower at Farmer's Markets as well, because of the gas prices going up!. For other tips or single serving recipes check out
