What is the absolute best kind of steak (cut of beef) that I can buy to grill on my charcoal BBQ?!

Question: What is the absolute best kind of steak (cut of beef) that I can buy to grill on my charcoal BBQ!?
What's the best kind of steak to ask the butcher for!? I don't mind spending some extra cash!. I just want a great steak!.

One thing I have learned is that the best steaks require very little preparation before going on the grill!. Maybe some oil and a bit of seasoning!. Marinading is for cheaper cuts!. And you don't even need a lot of BBQ sauce!. You want to taste the beef and the smokey flavor imparted by the charcoal!.

So what's the best steak I can buy!?

Thanks!Www@FoodAQ@Com

You know about prep, but not about the cuts!? Hm!. A loin strip is nice!. NY strip!. T-bone, if you get a good one!.

You're off on the marinading bit, though!. And I never use BBQ sauce!. Seasoning, I use Tony Chachere's Cajun seasoning!. But I put that stuff on everything but Blue Bell!. As far as charcoal, sounds like you've never heard of mesquite!. Try it!. Chips, soaked in water about twenty minutes before tossing them on the coals!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Looks like someone tried to spell filet mignon!. That's too sissy for a grill, in my opinion!. It won't come out any better than a good ribeye, for example, and costs a whale of a lot more!. Try to get a good ribeye steak or even a good porterhouse!. T-bones and top sirloin are good, too, of course; the ribeye and porterhouse, however, are just a smidge better!. They don't need a lot of pampering!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If you can can get a new york strip or flamin yon of bison but those are the best steaks to
, bison meat is a lot better tasting and leaner but i really like the taste, the burgers arent much diff just have a leaner taste and more dense and the meat goes a lot further shrinks less and takes less time to cook!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

well i think filet mignon is a really good cut!. at least its my favorite!. and they are usually cut from big thick pieces closer to the bone where its thicker but without any bone!. they usually come out very juicy and tender!. they are great! they are also very good for BBQ or oil and seasoning!. marinading is good for them too!. its taste good no matter what even if its just seasoned!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Tenderloins are the leanest and most tender!.
But I preafer New York Strip with the bone in as the bone gives you more flavor!.

Grilled medium rare are the best!

No sauce on them, just a little salt and a lot of pepper!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

ribeye!. they are full of flavor and the fat in them melts when cooked properly!. it can be drizzled with olive oil before cooking with some salt and pepper and a crisp salad on the side!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Ribeye is absolutely the best!. Just need seasoning!.
T-bone is wonderful, too!. A porterhouse for a manly appetite!
Some people like New York cut (striploin), but I don't!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Eye fillet will melt in your mouth but as all chefs know, fat is flavour!. A good piece of sirloin is great and I like scotch fillet too!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

The loin of beef is best to eat!. It's the leanest too supposedly!.
Read that in a book!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Not to be a cheapy person, but I love sirloin!. But ribeye and T-Bones are awesome too!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I think fimolgy on dont know how to spell it!.hoped i helped uWww@FoodAQ@Com
