Hello Zach,
You can add Andes mints to a cake batter, but, there is a trick to it!. Cake batter is not very thick so your mints will sink to the bottom of the pan and most likely scorch at the bottom from the heat!.

To solve this problem toss your pieces of Andes mints in some flour before baking!. You will probably need no more than 1/4 of a cup!. This will not ruin your recipe!.This will give them the ability to float throughout your batter rather than sinking!. This technique is great when adding any candy or chocolate chips to cakes, muffins, etc!.!.

I love Andes mints!. Here is a link to an awesome brownie recipe that I used them in!. It is for mint brownies!. They are delicious! I just recently added it to my website!.

I think it would be fine, but make sure you add them after your pour out the badder in the pan just to be sure they don't distribute to the bottom of you pan, and break up the pieces a bit!. Other wise you may get some uncooked areas!.

Sounds yummy!Www@FoodAQ@Com

just make sure you put some batter in then the andies then the rest of the batter
so that way they dont stick to the bottom or sides
