well pure peppermint wont cause mint is just an herb and its like steeping up leaves of the mint bush!.!. no caffeine at all in mint leaves!.!. but if you purchase a box of tea that has black tea leaves or some other tea leaves in it and just flavored with mint!. it probably will have caffeine!. read labels!.!. !.!. and green tea is just the same tea as regular tea but just that the leaves are not completely processed till they are black and fermented!.!. think of green tea as raw tea!.!. but still has the same caffeince in it since its the same plant!.!. but you can look for decaf green tea!.!. Where im at, they sell either Tetleys or Twinings green tea with mint that is decafeinated!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Peppermint tea is naturally caffeine free!.

Green tea on the other hand has 1/3 the caffeine as coffee!. In fact the woman I used to work for drank green tea in place of coffee when she needed a pick-me-up!. She said it was the same as coffee!. Wikipedia quotes it at 1/3!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
