ok I hope this helps but this is what I think of when smelling fresh strawberries, sorry if it sounds funny to someone
Strawberries smell like : sweet, some times tart, very juicy, sweet breezes during the summer !. When they are fresh picked you can almost smell the sun heated sweetness comeing off of them!. But then I grew up on a farm with strawberry fields!.!.lol!.
