No, sadly not, here in Ohio where I have had them, they are not a sweet pastry, just another main ingredient to sausage gravy, buttermilk soaked, deep fried chicken or a side dish to many, many Southern Styled recipes!. I would love to see a place that served Biscuits as a sweetened dish!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.I would love them baked with Brown Sugar, Nutmeg, Cinnamon, Honey, Vanilla and Almond Extract to start!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.Sounds like a new business to me! No!.!.!. I am from rural North Carolina!. Biscuits here are of the big fluffy variety and are usually made with buttermilk!. They can be eaten at any meal with sweet or savory spreads, just plain, or with creamy gravy!. YUM!!!Www@FoodAQ@Com
