Frozen corn on the cob in a bag..it's covered in frost b/c the bag was left open is it still good?!

Question: Frozen corn on the cob in a bag!.!.it's covered in frost b/c the bag was left open is it still good!?
Answers:
Actually that frost was really from the moisture inside the corn kernels! As the frozen corn is stored in a freezer and the door continues to be opened and closed --the temperature variations cause some of the moisture in the corn -ice - to vaporize and leave the corn but because it is colder than 32 degrees some of that vapor moisture turns into frost-- THE FROST YOU SAW IN THAT BAG WITH THE CORN!.
So of course it is perfectly good from a food safety point of view but if left too many weeks it could affect the quality- texture from freezer burn!.

This is typical to any food in your home freezer since we seem to open the door so many times the warm air from the kitchen causes the freezer temperature to increase slightly which in turn sublimes some of the ice to a water vapor and then turns to that nasty frost we all see!. IF THIS CONDITION CONTINUES TO MANY WEEKS THIS IS HOW WE GET FREEZER BURN -SINCE THE INTERNAL MOISTURE STARTS TO DRY OUT THE PRODUCT!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It isn't bad but the quality is lost and may taste funny!.How long has it been in the freezer!? More than a month is not good if left open!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

if bag was left open, the corn is spoiled!. if not, it should be fine just long as it hasnt been there for like 6 monthsWww@FoodAQ@Com

the corn will be fine but it will taste very gross because the ice makes it loss flave once it is in a bagWww@FoodAQ@Com

I would not eat it!. I don't think it's bad if you eat it, but it probably won't taste good!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I'd do a taste test on one first!. Freezer burn has a taste/smell that is yuk!.
