Why did my strawberry muffins come out blueish grayish looking?!

Question: Why did my strawberry muffins come out blueish grayish looking!?
Please help! Should i still eat them!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
They are fine!. Sometimes the acid in the strawberries mix with the baking powder/soda in the muffin mix and turn weird colors!. It happens to blueberries and cranberries too!. Not so pretty but they are OK to eat!.
Someone said frozen are better and I have heard this too!. They are treated to a 'bath' with citric acid or something that keeps them from turning colors!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It could be because you put them in fresh and raw!. It can help to use them frozen, then they retain their color and texture better!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

uhm hmm well maybe the strawberry juices bled through!?
or maybe you just got some bad strawberries!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

The only thing I can think of is that they are not strawberry but blueberryWww@FoodAQ@Com
