Honeycomb - how do they remove the bee grubs?!
I've read that bees place honey into honeycomb cells that 'act as incubators for the young bee grubs'!. I want to know how honey sellers remove these grubs before selling honeycomb for consumption!?Www@FoodAQ@Com
Answers:
honey storage is in different cells from incubation chambers!.!. a very fine grill is placed between the lower area where the Queen is kept to lay eggs and the upper chambers called (suppers) The Queen who is much larger 2 - 3x can not pass to the upper boxes!.!.

I'm not 100% sure, but I thought the bee larvae/"grubs" are kept in a different location from the honey!. The bees create/segreate a portion of the hive that's the nursery/incubator!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
