What's the difference b/w yellow cling & freestone peaches?!

Question: What's the difference b/w yellow cling & freestone peaches!?

I've read that the stone on the freestone comes out easily (correct!?) but is that the only difference!? Is there a taste, color, etc difference!?

Personally I find freestone peaches taste much lighter and sweeter, and are more juicy!. The flesh tends to be paler and the peaches look bigger because of the space between the flesh and the stone!. Whether that is solely personal preference, I'm not sure!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
