I think what may be confusing is that most pickles sold in the US are Dill Pickles!. Well dill is a spice/herb and is used to pickle cucumbers!. Some people refer to a pickle as a dill, so in that case they would be the same!. Except dill pickles are not sweet!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

erm well they are totally different where im from (the uk) dill is a herb, and pickle is well pickle like erm branston pickle or pickled onions!.!.etc etc

and i dont have dill so pickle on cheese sarnies is a must for me!Www@FoodAQ@Com
