Since America (and Canada) is a large composite of other cultures, British being one of them, these food items are not uncommon, whether someone of British origin is making them in their own household, or if you go to an English style pub or restaurant, which are all over!.
Some of the things on that list I'm not familiar with, like Rock and Parkin!. Everything else I've either made or eaten or both!., You definitely forgot Bangers and Mash and Steak and Kidney Pie, kedgeree, trifle, mince pie, mushy peas, toad in the hole, welsh rarebit, wow Ok that was a trip down artery clogging memory lane!. There's a great English style restaurant in Vancouver (Canada) I used to go to for a fix of English fare!.
Now do enlighten me what Parkin and Rock is!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

I love yorkshire pudding!.
I think that I know what a hot pot is, seems to be meat and vegetables cooked up in a pot, kind of like a pie but with no crust
bubble and squeak my friend told me about, but I don't really remember what it is, wait, fried leftover potatoes!? I thought she called it pips and squeak though
