Does the magic bullet work as good as it does in the infomercials?!

Question: Does the magic bullet work as good as it does in the infomercials!?
And if not, can anyone recommend a decent alternative personal blender that is better quality!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
It doesn't work QUITE as efficiently as they make it seem, but it is worth buying!. I use mine everyday, for many things!. The biggest drawback is that if you are making something thick, such as a cheese spread, dip, etc!., you sometimes have to take off the cap, and scrape the ingredients down, replace the lid, and reblend-sometimes several times for one thing!. Still, it does a good job, and the extra containers and such are pretty handy!. I make my daughter a smoothie to take in her lunchbox, and I can make it the night before, zip it up in the morning, and put one of the caps on, and its good to go!. The containers are very durable too!. I am a pretty hard sell, but I like my bullet enough that I bought a second one after my first quit working (my fault, not the blenders) I am super hard on them, as I use them for grinding flour from very hard grains such as buckwheat and oat groats!. I would purchase yet another if this one broke-and coming from me, thats quite an endorsement, lol!. I DO have to add, that the juicer attachment is quite useless-only works for super soft fruits, such as melons!. No good for carrots, apples, etc!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Well not as good as they say, but is working OK!. It is not as durable as it looks, and making a juice is not very pracital cause you have to change so many parts, and also is very messy!.
also, when try try to blend food, because the blades are at the bottom and the plastic container is tall and thin, it doesn't process the food on the top, so you have distribute it by shaking!.
The ice crashing works OK especially if blended with liquids!.

Overall, I think is ok, but not as good as they show it on TV (like everything else)!. If you have the patience to change parts you might find it usefull!.

P!.S!. I am sing mine only as a blender after 1 year of being an owner of the magic bullet:)Www@FoodAQ@Com

Well!.!. it depends what you're making!. I made hommus the other day and it all stuck to the top and took me about 1/2 an hours to make, then again, my house mate made some 2 days before and it worked fine!. (i think perhaps it heard me talk badly about it and now it doesnt like me)

I would suggest having a look at a variety of food processors, and buying one of high quality!. It would work better than the magic bullet!.

And!.!.!. if you want it for soup, i would suggest one of those hand held blenders and you can blend it right in the pot! Much better than transferring it to a blender!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

No!. They are harder to work than they make it look!. My BFF has one!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
