Best high energy, light food to carry if lost for a week?!
What would be the highest calorie, the lightest food one can carry if a person gets lost for 7 days out in the wild!?
Let's say water is no problem and don't have to carry it!. Fire and shelter available!.

As far as standard food that's light to carry and high in calories, I would suggest Cashews, they are 600 calories per serving(3oz) or Beef Jerky 350 calories per serving(3oz)

granola bars, peanuts, peanut butter crackers, I know you only asked for one, but these are some choices, since they are light weight, full of protein, and will not spoil in a week!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
