I agree with eveyone else, chill the onions but peel and chop under an exhaust fan, keep face behind chopping board not directly above it or a have a little fan on the bench to blow the fumes away, you will never cry again well not when you're peeling onionsWww@FoodAQ@Com

I have a chopper that I bought from bed bath and beyond!.!.!. I just put the onion in, press down the lever, and it chops it up!.!.!. no more tears!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Cut under running cold tap water
Cut both ends off without piercing layers otherwise & your eyes won't tear!.
Stick piece of white bread in your mouth
Chew gum vigorous
