What is the process to operate a food concession stand at the county fair? Permits, special license?!

It mainly depends where is the fair and what county!. In my city 10 years ago it was wide open!. All I had to do is pay the fair entry fee as a vendor pay for a spot set your stand and wait for buyers!.
So you really need to check with your particular county and prepare yourself ahead of time!.lots of time ahead!.

Yes generally there are Permits, Insurance Riders, Health and Safety and Sanitation Rules and Laws!. You do need to contact the County to find out what is required and the deadlines for the paperwork to be turned in!. Sometimes it is months before the event!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It varys by state check with your health department :) here in washington state you cannot serve food to the public unless it is prepared in a preaproved inspected kitchen!. I know other states let you cook in your own home and sell it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
