Expired fish oil caps?!


Question: Expired fish oil caps!?
I have a huge bottle of fish oil caps, which have been kept in the fridge!. They have just expired, is it safe to keep taking them!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

As long as they don't smell rancid!. Depending on the brand, you may not be able to tell when they are cold!. Let one sit out for an hour and smell the fish oil cap!. I wouldn't if they were past the 2 month mark because rancid fish oil can make you sick!. It's a good idea that you refrigerate yours!Www@FoodAQ@Com

It's probably OK if they've been in the fridge, because they will last longer!. I keep mine in the fridge also!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Maybe you could fish with them as bait!.!.!.trout or the occasional big mouth bass would probably love them!Www@FoodAQ@Com
