Question: Butter is made from the cream of hte milk!? Why is butter not considered part of this food group!?
Aslo, why is it important to eat monounsaturated and polyunsaturatef fats!? Why are dry beans and peas considered part of the vegetable group and the meat and beans group!? What nutrients are provided by meat, pultry, fish, dry beans, peas, eggs, nuts and seeds!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

First, we have bad and good fats in our bodies, we need those to do their jobs!. Butter may come from milk and is technically dairy, but it mainly just the fat that they have pulled out of the milk!. The beans and peas are in the PROTIEN group, the food pyramid is based on carbs, veggies, dairy, protien and so on!. Things are grouped according to what they have the most of!. Like dry beans may be a veggie, but they have more protien then other veggies!. Lastly, the nutrients in the items you listed are many and varried, but one I know they all have in common is protien!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
