Whats a corndog?!
I been to the US a few times and get excited when i see corndogs as im a veggie, i have learnt this is meat what is it exactly!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

The corndog is just a hot dog (usually on a wooden stick) coated in cornmeal batter and deep fried in hot oil!. The actual meat part is usually beef, pork, or turkey, just like a typical hot dog!.

There are the original corn dogs which is a hot dog " made of beef, pork or a combination of the 2" that has been skewered on a stick and dipped in corn bread batter then fried til crisp and crunchy!. There are veggiedogs but havent seen one up close and personal!. Might be something you want to take a look for if you are interested!.

The true corn dog is a weiner with a real corn bread batter, deep fried!. They have incredible ones at the Corn Dog Castle in Disneyland's sister theme park, California Adventure!. Alas, this no vegetarian dish as a juicy former pig and/or cow lies beneath the luscious mealy batter!.
