How do You Get in a Sonic Drive in Commercial?!
I know this is going to sound REALLY sad, I should already know because my husband is an assistant manager at Sonc, however, I know he will not ask the head manager, because of the whole pride thing!.The reason I am asking is because I think that with my husband being a manager, I think that my husband and I would be really good to appeal to the younger audience!. I am a former pageant queen, and I have taken acting lessons and my husband is a former model!. I mean We dont look like Angelina and Brad Pitt or anything, but I think we would do really good on a Sonic Drive In Commercial!. Oh, does anyone have any info on the guys that are currently doing the Sonic Drive In Commercial!? Thank you so much for replies!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Sonic corporate has an ad agency under contract to make their commercials!. That ad aency is in charge of hiring the actors!.
The Improv actors Peter Grosz and T!.J!. Jagodowski have done 115 Sonic commercials since 2003!. They're the ones doing the current "fire burger" commercials, too!.
Two other Improv actors, Molly Erdman and Brian Huskey, are the ones that do the commercials for Sonic as a married couple!.

If your husband is a former model, then he should know that casting directors select talent for commercials from submissions sent to them by talent agents who go through their rosters and put together a package of the headshots and resumes of actors who meet the descriptions the casting directors give them, much the same way models are selected for print, film and runway work!. It's much easier and time efficient for them to do it this way than to go through individual submissions!.
You could get some shots done and send them to a talent agent and hope they receive a call for actors for a Sonic spot, but the chances are slim!. Many casting directors deal only with specific talent agents and find out which these are is usually very difficult!.!.!.not that they're trying to make it difficult, there's just no need to do it!.
also, if the commercial isn't shooting in your area, chances are even slimmer that you'll be cast!. It's rare that businesses fly talent in for commercial shoots unless they're a big name, though we did cast an unknown for a Colgate commercial once here in New York and they flew him to Miami to shoot a national spot!.
I did find a Casting Agent's website and Sonic is among their credits though they don't exclusively cast for Sonic and they use some sort of seemingly industry-wide electronic system for finding actors that wasn't in existence when I was still in the business so I have no idea how it works!.
