When you blow on your hot food, does it really cool it?!

Question: When you blow on your hot food, does it really cool it!?
Answers:
Hot food cools by giving off heat, which is tranferred to the air surrounding it!. By blowing on your food, you replace that insulating layer of hot air with a layer of cool air, which will absorb the heat from the food!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
