Answers:
Nope! Not poisonous!.!.!.it's just the shoot of the garlic beginning to grow!. It can be bitter, though, so most people recommend you cut it out!. It won't hurt to eat it, it won't hurt to not eat it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It is just the garlic sprouting because it is old!. Actually what I do with the cloves that have the green sprout is plant it in my garden and it thrives!. Have never thrown the green stem away and never found it bitter!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Just throw out the green part and use the rest of the clove!. It's nothing poisonous, it just means that the garlic is a little old, but it's still fine to use!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It won't hurt you to eat it!.
It means that your garlic is old!.
It may make your dish bitter, but I usually cut it off and continue with the rest of the clove!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

it should still be okay!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
