While in Hawaii last month I had one of the most delicious foods!.!.!. PURPLE Sweet Potato!.!.!.I am on a mission to find them in Central California!.!.does anyone know where they may be found!? AND what the Proper Name for them is!.!.!.so I can be as informed as possible when inquiring about them!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I just had those recently myself! There is a restaurant here on Kauai called Trees that serves red and purple sweet potatoes fried and spiced!.!.!.they're really good (and I HATE yams)!
