How about quinoa cooked in fresh orange juice, or mixed with berries and honey!?

How about using honey instead of Splenda with your oatmeal, and adding raisins and cinnamon!?

A banana mashed on a piece of wholemeal toast!? If you want it sweeter, you can add a little honey!.

If you're feeling adventurous, how about the Thai breakfast dish of johk!? It's really delicious and one of my favourite breakfast foods!. Simply cook some white rice in chicken stock!. Add some minced pork formed into the shape of small balls!. Once the meat is cooked through, ladle into a bowel and sprinkle on some shredded ginger!.

If you like, you can put a raw egg into the bottom of the serving bowl, and leave it to stand for 3 or 4 minutes after you've added the johk!. This slightly cooks the egg so it's not completely raw!.

As well as pork, you can add liver and/or kidney!. Or replace it with fish and/or shellfish!.

It's a good breakfast to have when you're hungover, as there's plenty of fluids, lots of carbohydrates for energy and the ginger really settles your stomach!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
