Green potatoes?!

Question: Green potatoes!?
I cooked potatoes and left them out to cool, but then I had an emergency and had to leave the house all day without putting the potatoes in the fridge or anything!. They sat out in the kitchen basically all day!. When I peeled them, they were kinda green!. There was no mold or anything, and I tasted a bite and it tasted normal!. Are these safe to eat!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Never eat a green potato if it is green before you cook it!.!.!. like if you peel it and the potato is a greenish color it has had too much chlorophyll!. But if the potato did not have a greenish color before cooking them I would say your fine!. If you tasted it and your not running tothe bathroom!.!.!. plus I have never heard of anyone getting food poisioning from a baked tater lolWww@FoodAQ@Com

They are probably ok, but I'd toss them!. A green color with potatoes can indicate a natural toxin and I tend to err on the side of caution!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

NEVER EAT GREEN POTATOES professional Gardener told me not toWww@FoodAQ@Com
