What food group does coconut fall into? And why?!

Question: What food group does coconut fall into!? And why!?
Answers:
legume, because it is a self contained sprouting 'seed' with nutritious padding to protect and nourish the sprout!. it is designed to disperse itself (roll away) and grow into a new coconut tree!. it can't do this if the coconut is damaged (like, eaten)!.

if it were a fruit, it would have many small self contained seeds inside or attached to it (like an apple or a strawberry does), with the sweet 'fruity' bit there to attract animals to take the fruit and disperse the seeds, which are discarded or not digested, and then grow into new plants!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I think its classified as a legume, like other nuts!. It can be pressed to produce oil, which is a saturated fat (fat group)!.

Every nutrition site I find has them listed under nuts when referring to the meat, fat when referring to the oil!.
