Why does everything that's bad for you taste so good, and most things that are good for you taste bad?!

Question: Why does everything that's bad for you taste so good, and most things that are good for you taste bad!?
Answers:
In my experience, most of the foods that people say are "bad" aren't really!. It's just over-indulging in any one type that is "bad"!. Doughnuts, for example, aren't "bad" for you - really, they're not!. Eat 3 doughnuts every morning for breakfast, and that *is* bad for you!

There are some exceptions: bacon, for example, is supposed to be high in nitrites, which are actually bad for you!. But, *generally* speaking, food is good for you, no matter what food that is!. Some of those commonly considered "bad"

ice cream: high in protein
potatoes: high in vitamin C
pizza: very well-balanced if topped with "everything"
cookies: not much different than cereal, foisted off on us as a healthy breakfast, except for a higher fat content (which isn't bad unless you eat too much of it)

Things that are good for you taste "bad" (highly opinionated at that) because they are less altered from their natural state!. Let's take spinach for example--it may taste bitter because it does not have the sugar and chemicals that processed foods do!. Cookies taste delicious because they have been refined into a marketable product for consumption--vegetables are generally harvested, cleaned, then sent to market!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

because they take out the good to add the bad but the so called bad stuff people have been eating for years and people use to live a long time!. The bad stuff is all the junk they are adding to the so called bad stuff to make it good for you when actually its not!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
