The bacteria usually gets introduced to plants through manure that hasn't been processed correctly!. You can grow your own plants just don't make your own fertilizer!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
No, if its not connected to the Salmonella source, then you won't get it!.!.!.it only spreads from tomato to tomato, if yours are isolated in your own garden and not close to any other Salmonella sources (ie reptiles or raw meat) than you should be fineWww@FoodAQ@Com
